rather than an emotional story,

MONSTER GENERATiON
　As the first song I composed for out of all the music in I7, this song has also become an indicator of a beginning for me, myself.
　Content-wise, it's the beginning of I7's world, and so I visualised the idea of the idol unit known as IDOLiSH7 chasing a "GENERATiON" infinitely into the future, and thus "having the future within our hands". I still remember watching the MV and my heart skipping a beat as I once again felt, "finally I7's world is starting...!"!

Joker Flag
　When I met the composer, AstroNoteS-san, we talked excitedly about the I7 pirate brigade event, so this is a song with those memories (LOL).
　As a song meant to give energy to everyone in the middle of a typhoon, when it came to writing the lyrics, I visualised a life-sized optimism typical of IDOLiSH7 that wouldn't lose to any sort of opposition. The rap part second from the end is a barraging section that symbolises this piece, but I was very impressed with how they came through with the completion...! I'm also incredibly fond of the energy with which they head into the conclusion.

ピタゴラス☆ファイター
　Between the singing and spoken lines, it's quite the crowded piece, just like taiyaki stuffed with sweet bean paste!
　Content-wise, the lyrics are a bit extreme and haphazard, so I have memories of submitting them with nerves on end (LOL). I challenged the lyrics-writing while doing my best to visualise the trio's idiosyncracies.
　It's a piece where the comical feeling is present all throughout, but this trio is the most adult out of IDOLiSH7, so if you could feel a bit of a mature feeling from lines like "a flash at a chance~", I'd be very happy. By all means, please do look forward to the full sized version, as well!

THE FUNKY UNIVERSE
　From the time I listened to the demo, I thought it was a melody with an incredibly good rhythm, so I did my absolute best to deliver that feeling while writing the lyrics. Because I was keeping the rhythm in mind, it means that there's a little bit more English being used compared to the other songs.
　While having a forward-thinking quality of forging on towards the future without hesitation, it's also a song where my playfulness snuck in, such as having multiple meanings of "Earth" and "tomorrow" during the chorus, so (LOL), but as a point, rather than one single passage, if I could have you listen to the overall flow then it might be a very fun melody~, is what I think!

MEMORiES MELODiES
　Just as the lyrics "an evolving GENERATiON" say, I wrote the lyrics with the sense of tying up the entirety of Part 1 as it began with MonGen! It was my final work, too, so I feel like I was able to write it while I was the most engrossed in the story.
　Their daily lives were stimulating and there were times when they struggled, but I'd be happy if even the slightest bit of "irreplaceable MEMORiES" could be conveyed through this song. Incidentally, I was so moved by the PV I watched it endlessly!

"The person you like already has a boyfriend, and so love will never come of it, so you simply wish for their happiness."
　The climbing staircase of this order made my chest hurt a loot (LOL).
　The pieced I'd received had an incredibly gentle and warm melody, so with the lyrics, while snuggling up close to the melody's world, I thought about the feeling of "thinking about the other person, and being unable to be self-centered and say that you loved them" wrote about those painfully heartbreaking feelings, and the frustration.
　My favourites are the entirety of the course, and from 2B... The feeling of being close enough to touch, and yet their heart feels so far away as if it's on the other end of the earth.

Fly away!
　Getting along so well that they fight.
　Normally all they have to say to one another are words of abuse, but they actually acknowledge and approve of each other. Please insert that sort of dialogue... was the order I'd received.
　Writing the lyrics was tons of fun!
　The center has the role of the group's "face", as well as the image of pulling everyone along, so I wrote the lyrics with the sense of a duo polishing their characters while aiming for further heights.
　My favourite part is where the two of them sing, "Now, together let's fly away!"!



　Regarding TRIGGER's songs, I'd received the directions of "lyrics that make you feel an atmosphere of danger and allure", so while inserting words that would suggest a bit of a shocking sexiness, or adding more English in order to deliver the three of theirs' stylish atmosphere, I wrote the lyrics for "SECRET NIGHT" and "Leopard Eyes". Within the song, I also had tons of sighs and long breaths added, so these two songs truly became sexy and stylish numbers, and I'm beyond words.

"NATSU☆しようぜ！" is a piece with all of the full-throttle excitement of midsummer sunshine, but as a song that was originally IDOLiSH7's, there was also the setting of it being a song with a shady history to consider, so while incorporating phrases that would make you want to think "I'm sure that the lyrics IDOLiSH7 would've sung could have been something like this...", and try to reverse-build it in your imagination, I had the title set as one that was considerably different from TRIGGER's original image. I'd be very pleased if I could have the words "NATSU shiyouzeeEee~!" linger in your ears.

Lastly, IDOLiSH7's song, "GOOD NIGHT AWESOME" is the theme song of the drama in which Yamato-kun plays the part of the protagonist, so with that there is the theme of a "dark hero". I wrote the lyrics while thinking of how it would be nice if I could produce feelings of shouldering the darkness, or something with a mysterious sort of coolness.
　The force of the full 7-member chorus is the best part, isn't it!

　Each and every piece is one I think of preciously and with deep memories, to the point I can't speak enough about them. Being able to be involved with this product and music, it was truly fun and I'm very happy. May it become music that can always light a fire within the hearts of everyone who listens....
